Position Overview: 13;
The primary responsibility of the Benefits Specialist is the administration of the Venetian Benefit Plans, including but not limited to, benefits issues related to eligibility and compliance. The Benefits Specialist will assume responsibility for Benefits Orientation, Health Fairs, Showcases in Ciao, all other special events and heart:of:the:house benefits communications. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian and The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casinos policies, practices, and procedures.

:Key Responsibilities
:Provides team member service consistent with the Companys core service standards and brand attributes, addressing all team member issues, questions, in a timely and professional manner. Responsible for benefit issues related to eligibility and compliance.
:Responsible for Benefits Orientation, Health Fairs, Showcases in Ciao and all other special events and heart:of:the:house benefits communications. All responsibilities must be managed within the department guidelines, strategic plan, fiscal budget, and the companys short:term and long:term profitability objectives.
:Maintains eligibility reports and performs data entry using the HRMS system. Performs typing, filing, faxing, speaking in front of groups of 2 to 50 people or more at all levels, and prepares and executes presentations using Power Point.
:Assists Executive Benefits Director and Benefits Managers with special projects, and other duties as assigned.
:Provides ideas and suggestions for new products, services, technology and processes to ensure VCRs competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs within the dynamic hospitality and gaming environment.
:Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non:hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods.
:Performs any other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 13;
:21 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States, college degree or equivalent.
:Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English, both in oral and written form. Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
:Have interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.
:Maintain a professional, neat and well:groomed appearance adhering to Company appearance standards.
:Maintain consistent adherence to the Venetian and Palazzo Unmatched Guest Service Standards.
:Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
:A minimum of 2:3 years benefits administration experience.
:Must possess at least 1:2 years experience with health and welfare plans, short and long term disability coverage, and life insurance and be Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, an
