Job Summary
DiTRONICS is a national provider of funds access solutions for the gaming industry. Products and services include ATMs, Multi:Function Ticket Redemption Kiosks, Cash Advance, Check Guarantee Services and other proprietary products designed to put cash on the gaming floor (Products).

Installation and Support Engineers provide field installation, troubleshooting, service and repair of DiTRONICS software and hardware products. This includes but is not limited to installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, optimizing all DiTRONICS software and hardware products, PC hardware, software, and communication links at a site level.
The higher classifications of this role will also be expected to support multiple product verticals, plan installation and lead installation teams, and perform non:technical end user training. This role will interface directly with customers, Customer Care Center personnel, Engineering, Sales and various levels of management.Your ability to communicate with customers clearly and respectfully while operating with accuracy and efficiency is critical to our success.
Essential Functions:

:Provide installation, troubleshooting, support and technical training of Ditronics Windows based applications, ATMs and ticket redemption kiosks (TRK)
:Work with Casino IT departments on server and networking related issues which impact the performance of Ditronics applications.
:Install and troubleshoot server applications (SQL Server, Web Applications) in virtualized and non:virtualized Windows environments
:Troubleshoot and diagnose software, hardware and networking issues using a variety of tools to include the analysis of logs files, review of Windows events, network performance analyzers, screw drivers and wrenches.
:Interface with Engineering, Product Management and third party product providers to troubleshoot and resolve technical and non:technical issues
:Lead multi:technician installation teams to include daily tasking, monitoring and final review of completed work
:Provide end:user training on the use, configuration, support, maintenance and accounting of software products
:Work with third party system providers to install and support system interoperability.
:Comfortable working late evening hours when deployed on a Casino installation project.
:Follow:up on open issues and working with customer and/or vendors to ensure proper case closure. Maintain complete installation and case documentation
:Work harmoniously in small technical support organization
:Professional appearance and excellent communication skills with all levels of customers to include Executive level.
:Participate in 24x7 rotating on:call duty
:Adhere to all company policies and procedures
:Perform other job related duties or special projects as assigned
:High School diploma or equivalent
:Must be able to learn and operate our programs, systems and products
:Computer skills a must and experienced with Microsoft Office.
:Appropriate degree, technical certifications or commensurate experience
:Previous field services or field engineering experience is required
:Demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills
:In:depth knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking fundamentals and troubleshooting
:Prior experience with installation and support of networking technologies including firewalls, switches and related products with strong understanding of networking protocol
