Job DescriptionTechnical SupportHenderson, NV$35,000-$40,000 a yearI-View Now is a located on Green Valley Pkwy in Henderson, just off the Sunset. We integrate security system signals, video sources, cloud applications, and internet-connected devices (IoT) into our cloud platform with the objective of giving end users, operators, and authorized emergency responders better information to prioritize their resources. Our business grew by more than 100% in 2015, and 110% in 2016 and we are seeking a technical support representative to support new and existing customers with installations, tech problems, and set-up of sites.The Technical Support Representative (TSR) role will provide excellent customer service and technical support to customers through a variety of support channels. We are expected to understand user needs and assist with general inquires, product support, service information, account management, and technical issues via multiple contact channels (phone/email/chat).Specific Responsibilities May Include:Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and excellent customer service skillsAssist users with general inquiries, product support, service information, and technical issues in a diverse technology environment (via phone/email/chat)Follow the directions of management and provide feedbackBe capable of developing a good understanding of customers needs and how to diagnose and fix their issuesDemonstrate interpersonal skills and able to provide empathy for customers situationMaintain openness to work flexible hours as required (including on-call shifts)Having ability and willingness to tend to any other tasks as assignedRequired Experience, Skills & Competencies:Minimum two years of call-based customer service experience OR four years of interactive customer service experienceKnowledge of CCTV systemsKnowledge of alarm systemsStrong mobile applications orientationDemonstrated ability to satisfy customer needsRobust multitasking skills (eg able to log calls and interact with customer simultaneously)Excellent written and spoken English language communication skills with ability to communicate technical issues in non-technical termsStrong analytical, problem solving and general troubleshooting skillsAbility to learn new processes when presented with themAbility to setup and test new integrations Detail minded Some security install skillsSelf-MotivatedAbility to problem solve Preferred Experience, Skills & Competencies:Live customer service support experience in a contact center environment via multiple channels (phone/chat/email)4yr previous on the job technical support or troubleshooting experience Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced fun environment, can manage being involved in multiple initiatives, and enjoys working with people.Must have the ability to work independently as well as with the team, organize and prioritize work assignments, and feel comfortable working in an exciting deadline-driven environment.
