ROLE of the POSITION Duties will include: Provide strategic direction for data-driven application design and development to support institutional decision making; Provide software development systems management projects and data modeling skills in support of office projects and activities, leveraging the Enterprise Data Warehouse in the design and development of information delivery applications; Implement and maintain metadata systems and applications supporting of institutional data governance efforts and in collaboration with Data governance staff and University data stewards; Coordinate with developers in other campus units to leverage the enterprise data warehouse in campus applications where appropriate. QUALIFICATIONS This position requires a MS in Computer Science or Management Information Systems from a regionally accredited college or university and 5 years experience in each of the following: using relational database systems, SQL report generators and business intelligence software such as Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to access, download, modify a layout of data stored in the enterprise data warehouse (EPM) and other data systems; with one or more procedural business programming languages, such as C#, Java and VB.Net; in web-development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and front-end frameworks. SALARY RANGE Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
