Casino Marketing Coordinator

Summary; Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Executes and monitors strategic marketing plans, both short and long range, to achieve Casino objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share.
Statistically analyze marketing programs and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Provides post:event reports, analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs.
Effectively cooperate and coordinate activities (such as events, promotions and Guest Service training for all Casino team members) with other managers to insure a cohesive interdepartmental team relationship.
Routinely evaluates operating budget to actual expenses, Minimum Guest Service Standards, Player Development and on:floor guest relations.
Must routinely maintain customer contact and interaction, personally.
Prepares marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
Develops ideas and opportunities for feature articles, interviews, presentations, and other public relations activities that promote awareness of the Casino and its products or services.
Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports and presentations.
Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Researches database information to identify customer demographics and interests; consults with management on methods of targeting, developing and informing customers of upcoming hotel/casino ::events; purchases external lists to attract and retain low:end casino customers.
Maintains and updates customer database continually ensuring the highest level of data integrity, including measurement systems; maintains confidentiality of database and files.
Effectively handles Guest complaints and discrepancies in an efficient and courteous manner.
Responsible for marketing to predetermine active and inactive Guests by mail and phone to further develop brand loyalty and visitation to the casino and reports results of each.
Assists in the development of incentive programs, host goals, special events and marketing programs.
Knowledge of Player Tracking software.
Responsibilities include training employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
A command of digital marketing (Web, email and social) will be an important job requirement.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must have Casino promotions or Casino marketing background.
Experience and/or Education
Three to five years related experience and/or training; Bachelors degree (B.A.); or equivalent combination of experience and education. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, mathemati
