Compliance Director
Las Vegas, Nevada Area

The Compliance Director will lead a compliance department for a major gaming supplier. This position requires strong skillsets in licensing, product compliance, and management areas.
:
Licensing responsibilities include:
:
Maintaining all gaming licenses, business licenses, and all jurisdictional registrations necessary for company operations in over 150 unique jurisdictions
:
Maintaining document archives for all jurisdictions, including submitted applications, agency document requests, and regulatory reports
:
Protecting the confidentiality of documents and sensitive personal information
:
Preparing, proofing, and submitting confidential documents for individual and corporate licensure
:
Retaining precise and detailed files
:
Responding to all regulatory requests and inquiries
:
Maintaining and tracking license and registration renewals
:
Product Compliance responsibilities include:
:
Coordinating with sales department and regulatory agencies to ensure product approvals and product shipping notifications are timely and accurate
:
Maintaining a master shipping record of all submitted, pending, and approved shipping notifications
:
Maintaining and tracking product approvals
:
Maintaining records of jurisdictional requirements for product approvals and product shipping notices
:
Management responsibilities include:
:
Management of Compliance Team and department workload
:
Setting and assigning priorities for the Compliance Team
:
Preparing quarterly and annual compliance status reports for the Board of Directors and Executive Management
:
Preparing and maintaining training manuals
:
Taking initiative with problem:solving and individual skill growth

Education and Experience Requirements:
:
Bachelors Degree
:
5 years of experience as a paralegal, OR
:
5 years of gaming compliance experience, OR
:
5 years of experience in a similar fast:paced regulatory work environment
:
Nevada Notary
:
Able to be licensed by gaming jurisdictions as necessary

Other Requirements:
:
Resident of Las Vegas area
:
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other office equipment (printers, copiers, fax)
:
Ability to communicate directly with Board of Directors, Executive Management, and remote employees
:
Ability to lead and manage a small team
:
Ability to effectively manage large volumes of paperwork
:
Strong attention to detail and deadlines
:
Strong organization and multi:tasking ability
:
Ability to work independently, identify and solve workflow issues, and deal with rapidly changing priorities
:
Must be punctual and reliable
