Event Center Manager position
Event Center Manager is responsible for managing all operational aspects of Event Center. Oversight includes Event Center facilities, coordination of events and marketing of the facility. Lucky Silver Gamings mission is to increase knowledge, enhance dialogue, encourage creative expression, and generate new ideas.

Duties:
Plan, schedule, direct or coordinate all special events including those involving catered food and refreshments.
Oversee all operational aspects of Event Center
Responsible for operation and maintenance of all mechanical and technical systems in the Convention Center
Implementation of policies and procedures as they relate to Event Center operations and on:going review and addition/revisions as necessary.
Coordination of events at the Center
Technical expertise to assist Convention Center guests with event related needs.
Maintenance of records as they relate to events and maintenance at the Center
Active participation in marketing efforts for Center In house sales Presentations and tours of facility Sales calls to potential groups/events managers Assist with preparation of proposals for the Event Center
Assist in preparation of budget for operations of Event Center
Event accounting and monthly reporting on Event Center
Supervision of Center personnel
Researches, develops and maintains current and competitive policies, procedures and rates for the use of Event Center space
Develops marketing materials (in collaboration with Marketing Department) to publicize and promote the rental of event center.
Negotiates reviews and oversees all contracts for leasing spaces.
Maintains and communicates a current schedule of events to determine availability of facilities for bookings and ensures there are no conflicting events or dates.
Submits invoices and receives and accounts for monies paid for events, submitting regular financial reports to Dir. of Finance and operations

Qualifications
2:5 years experience in planning special events in a business or non:profit organization (preferably in casino, hotel or restaurant management). Spanish speaking preferred.
Skilled and self:confident in verbal and written communications with a wide variety of people including customers, staff, vendors and prospects
Customer service expert
Capable negotiator
