Job Description:/h3:
Position Summary:
The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an Audio Visual integration company including, but not limited to, technician scheduling, client communication, project management, strategic planning, budgetary performance, inventory management and staffing and recruiting. The position requires effective written and verbal communication with direct reports, colleagues and clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
I. Manage Internal Resources
:Facilitate internal project kick:off meeting that includes key participants from sales, engineering, fabrication, and installation.
:Provide project management functions for all installations not assigned a formal project manager.
:Responsible for supervision of all operations personnel in region including:
:Installation Technicians
:Service Technicians
:Operations Coordinators
:Warehouse Staff
:Ensure adherence to company processes and policies.
:Working through the Centralized Purchasing Department, Facilitate the ordering of materials upon approval of submittal documents or verification from engineering for design:build projects.
:Oversee scheduling of personnel for installations and service while maintaining a minimum 60 day look ahead schedule
:Develop individual team members to achieve their professional goals.
:Quality control of installation work performed by staff and/or subcontractors.
:Ensure all field operations staff is following safety policies set by South Central AV and OSHA.

II. Customer Interface
:Provide regular reports of job progress to all stakeholders.
:Function as the focal point for internal and external project communication and documentation for all projects that do not have a dedicated project manager.
:Serve as a primary point of escalation for client issues, both internal and external.
:Coordinate and/or provide training to client

III. Management Activities
:Responsible for management of regional P and L, expenditures to budget.
:Responsible for projecting monthly billing revenue and coordinating invoicing with Billing Department.
:Recruit, hire, and train new operations staff.
:Provide regular staff development including:
:Annual Performance Reviews
:Goal setting
:Scheduling and coordinating training
:Establishing and managing improvement plans when necessary.
:Monthly team meetings.
:Participate in process review and improvement meetings.
:Participate in annual budget development meetings.
:Serve as a technical resource to SCAV sales and engineering teams providing or coordinating:
:Site Survey Support
:System Design
:Labor Review
