The Post:Closing Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the daily activities of the three loan post:closing teams: 1) Post Funding; 2) Boarding; and 3) Imaging. Daily oversight of these teams includes ensuring that production and service level standards are achieved, work is completed accurately and on schedule, and that regulatory compliance, risk management, and audit standards are met. This supervisor works closely with the Division Loan Production Manager in coaching and training employees and in seeking increased efficiency through process improvement and employee productivity.The Post:Closing Supervisor is proficient in utilizing and maximizing IBS and FCM capabilities and is able to process work to assist in meeting production goals if necessary. Maintaining a productive work environment and fostering good working relationships within the Post Closing Group and with other departments is essential. The Post:Closing Supervisor oversees the daily activities of 3 teams, each ranging from 3 : 5 employees for a total count of 9 : 12 FTE. Supervise daily work of Post: Funding, Boarding, and Imaging teams including: work planning and distribution, ensuring timely completion of assignments, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.Provide technical support, assistance, and training to staff and others.Develop and maintain in:depth working knowledge of systems (IBS, FCM, Baker:Hill) and processes; provide technical support and assistance to Post Closing teams and others. Monitor work quality, proactively identify and correct errors and trouble shoot and resolve problems; provide training and assistance as needed.Conduct training for staff, both within and outside the department on imaging and data archiving processes and system, submission of loan and operations documents for imaging, paperless processing both routinely and as needed.Participate with training and other divisional post:closing supervisors in the development of training and easy reference tools : participate in process standardization across division linesConduct routine team meetings to assess and distribute workload, share information including organizational and process changes and updates, and provide interactive opportunities for teams within the Post Closing unit.Lead in technical trouble:shooting and problem resolution with respect to core system (IBS) and data archive system (FCM). Escalate issues to IT as neededSupervise teams and adhere to personnel administration practices in keeping with Bank requirements and timelines. Participate in performing personnel actions as directed by and in conjunction with Division Loan Production Manager.Two years relevant college or university education and 3 or more years related experience or, 5 or more years related experience. Work related experience should consist of relevant experience in the financial industry. Intermediate knowledge of general banking, including understanding of bank products, services, and regulations, policies and procedures, with an emphasis in loan origination, production/servicing or a termediate knowledge of core banking and loan processing software and systems, e.g. FIS IBS, LaserPro, Baker Hill etc.Previous experience supervising a small group of employees (at least 1:5) preferred.
