Grade: The Strategic Sourcing Manager for Facilities will execute strategic sourcing activities for defined category strategies, assisting in developing and growing programs, identifying additional managed spend categories and manage vendor relationships and communications for MGM Resorts International and subsidiary companies. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will also negotiate supplier contracts, monitor supplier performance, and support program implementation. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures. Lead strategic sourcing efforts for assigned Facilities categories which include materials (bulbs, filters, paint, sundries, safety equipment, tools, etc.) services (window washing, grease trap pumping, water treatment, Glass repair, hood cleaning, etc.), equipment maintenance and parts (elevator and escalators, boilers, cooling tower and chillers, fire suppression systems, etc.), as well as floral and horticulture as required by the company s various properties. Conduct in-depth financial and spend analysis to identify trends and discrepancies in maintenance, repairs and operation products and services MGM utilizes to ensure effective programs are established. Conduct market and supplier analysis to identify market trends for opportunities to reduce cost. Collaborate with internal customers to determine property requirements and expectations. Develop and issue comprehensive, consolidated global Request for Proposals (RFP s), Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quote (RFQ). Negotiate, write, and execute supplier contracts for assigned projects between supplier, stakeholder, and Corporate Legal. Develop and process Statements of Work for actions as needed with associated contracts. Data interpretation and analysis including the ability to summarize the key drivers for leadership. Establish cross departmental teams to score RFP s and select successful participants to present to senior management. Collaborate with Project Management team to develop and execute project implementation plans to ensure successful program roll-outs, increased property compliance, and risk mitigation. Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project objectives, launch, implementation and compliance. Track project progress and verify cost savings against initial estimate. Manage, evaluate and report on supplier performance including ensuring regular supplier performance reviews with stakeholders. Strategically identify alternative products or processes and provide recommendations to support company sustainability initiatives. Develop and implement solutions to identified issues. Identify and develop qualified diverse suppliers. Perform other job related duties as requested. Required: Bachelor s degree in business or related field; or equivalent education and work experience. At least 5 years of previous work experience in Facilities Maintenance, Repairs and Operations. Excellent customer service skills. Able to lead and mentor a team. Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts. Professional appearance and demeanor. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent. Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. Preferred: Previous strategic sourcing experience with a focus on Facilities Management. Prior supervisory experience.
