Position Overview: 13;
The primary responsibility of the Host : Aquatic Club is to be the first and last point of contact with Hotel/Casino guests and is responsible for greeting, negotiating minimums, and seating guests while providing unmatched service in every interaction. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian The Palazzo Casino Resorts policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 13;
:/h1:
:Provide superior guest service.
:Greet and seat Guests.
:Assist Guests with reservation via phone and in person.
:Communicate reservation and Guest requests with the Cocktail Servers.
:Assist Managers with cabana, chair, and daybed management to maximize seating.
:Assist Guest with special requests.
:Provide a service or assistance to meet the needs of a Guest, client or customer.
:Provide accurate directions and information for Guest inquires and is knowledgeable about all aspects of The Venetian and The Palazzo services, features, attractions, promotions and special events.
:Maintains reservation list and negotiating table minimums based on volume and demand.
:Maintain a professional, neat and well:groomed appearance, posture and hygiene adhering to departmental and company appearance standards.
:Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
:Performs other related duties as assigned.

Team Members are required to observe the Companys standards, work requirements and rules of conduct. Team Members are expected to behave in a manner that supports a harmonious work environment to help us deliver unmatched service to our guests and customers.

Minimum Qualifications: 13;
:21 years of age.
:Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
:High School Diploma or equivalent.
:Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
:1 year work experience as host person in a similar environment is preferred.
:Exhibit phone etiquette, organizational skills, basic computer knowledge (incl. reservations management system) and food/wine service knowledge.
:Requires the ability to multi:task, work efficiently and within a team environment.
:Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy.
:Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
:Must have a basic knowledge of attractions/restaurants in the Las Vegas area and provided by The Venetian and The Palazzo.
:Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. 13;
Physical Requirements: 13;
Must be able to:
:Lift or carry 10 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
:Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
:Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
:Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with Guests, management, other Team Members, and outside contacts.
:Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
:Work in a fast:paced and busy environment.
:Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke. 13;
