Job Description:/h3:
:Aim to give the best possible service, in the least obtrusive manner
:Maintain the safety and security of the restaurant/bar premises as a priority
:Identify guests preferences and their personal information: regularity and time of dining, food and drink choice, seat preference, food allergies, special occasion, hotel guests, table position, telephone number, e:mail address, web address, etc.
:Inform our guests about any upcoming events at Company
:Communicate with the Manager on Duty continuously and update them on the dynamics of the reservations, delays and cancellations in order to avoid unnecessary table chasing
:Ensure appropriate language is used when speaking to guests, use guidelines issued during training
:Deal with all forms of guest inquiries
:Record guest preferences in OpenTable
:Listen to and understand the details of guests inquiries, take notes if necessary
:Be aware of and follow the standards of answering phone calls

:Keep the working environment clean, tidy and presentable
:Be aware of and follow the guidelines of making a telephone reservation according to Coyle standards
:Perform all assigned opening and closing duties
:Use OpenTable when taking reservations and when checking on current or future reservations; ensure accuracy when entering data into OpenTable
:Answer calls promptly to maximize the restaurants capacity
:Try to accommodate regulars and concierge reservation requests
:Build relationships with companies and individuals in order to maximize reservations
:Make arrangements for menus, seating, special requests, etc.
:Ensure all reservations are handled properly:
:Confirmations are completed on time
:All respective paperwork is completed, i.e., reservations summary report, blocking sheet, server notes, set menus and special order forms
:Any deposits are taken and reported to the Restaurant Managers
:All emails and faxes are read and replied to in a timely manner
:All complaints are investigated and the findings are reported to the General Manager or Management on Duty
:Utilize all tables to achieve higher seating capacity
:Work closely with concierges and other agents to increase pre and post theatre reservations as well as other events
:Store data continuously and systematically
:Determine the needs and preferences of our guests and ensure that these needs are fulfilled
:Complete all administrative duties competently, efficiently and thoroughly in a timely manner
:Update all operational telephone numbers and email addresses as needed

:Move furniture as directed by management, including but not limited to tables, chairs, bar stools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, equipment, etc.
:Attend the training sessions and continuously review your training notes to improve your knowledge
:Be fully conversant with every aspect of the Companys emergency procedures
:Be fully conversant with all the Companys policies as detailed within the employee handbook
:Be fully conversant with the geographical layout of the operation and to know the exact whereabouts of all operational equipment
:Complete any other task as assigned by the Reservations Manager

:Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, proper table set ups, room capacity, hours of operations, menus, price range and dress code of assigned outlet
:Be aware of the Companys leadership team and know their extension numbers, locations and positions
:Work as a team, assisting all guests and employees needs and inquiries
:Be aware of all the information related to Company, i.e., head office, other related operations, their addresses, etc.
:Be aware of major attractions in the city, i.e., cinemas, bars, theatres, hotels, shows, nightclubs etc.
:Opening and closing times for all our units, as well as last order times
:Be aware of Company signature dishes and be able to make
