Job Description
Clique Hospitality will be hosting a CASTING CALL to fill positions for two brand new Lounges inside of the Palms Hotel. Please bring a resume and join us on the following dates:

February 13, 2018: 3pm:10pm
February 14, 2018: 10am:6pm
Location: Palms Casino:Meeting Room HARPER A and B

To include but not limited to:
1. Providing and maintaining high quality standards and procedures in preparing and serving food.
2. Ensuring all products are rotating on a first:in, first:out philosophy.
3. Ensuring high:quality of food that leaves the kitchen en route to the customer.
4. Ensuring all requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area.
5. Maintaining solid knowledge of all food products and is able to skillfully apply culinary techniques.
6. Keeping the kitchen a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in which to work, and assisting the Chefs in all SNHD Sanitation procedures.
7. Assisting in lowering of food costs and waste.
8. Responsible for return of all food from Banquet functions, as well as family meal.
9. Working one or two days ahead of his operation to ensure product delivery is on time and ensuring on days off that anyone covering has what they need to operate.
10. Restocking all kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
11. Properly labeling and dating all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
12. Maintaining a solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation.
13. Versatile in preparing all cold items to include, but not limited to, salads, dressings, garnishes and canapés.
14. Plating desserts.
15. Assisting Cooks and Master Cook as needed in execution of service and helping to prepare food for every aspect of the restaurant to include hot and cold banquets.
16. Assisting Kitchen Helpers as needed in execution of service.
17. Maintaining a high level of professionalism by exhibiting the Art of Excellence philosophy.
18. Working as a team, assisting all guests and employees needs and inquiries.
19. Effectively communicating with management, chefs and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees.
20. Following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division and department.
21. Participate in weekly marketing requirements including but not limited to:
3:4 organic posts to one of the following social platforms with information provided by the marketing team: Facebook, Instagram and Instagram Stories
Sharing of venues Facebook posts onto their own channels for Branding and awareness.
Posting and engaging (liking and commenting) with the venues social media posts as well as engaging with review sites such as Yelp.
Ability to use your likeliness in photos and social media content to promote the venues for digital marketing within various digital formats such as: photos, videos, live stories, digital ads, etc.
22. Following all health and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS: (Include equipment knowledge/use)
2 Years minimum experience in a similar position.
Basic comprehension of English oral and written language.
Ability to work off Recipes and Prep Lists that are posted.
:Basic knife skills.
:Ability basic knife skills required for preparation.
:Able to read and measure recipes.
:Exhibits a basic knowledge, understanding and application of various cooking techniques.
Full knowledge of cooking utensils and equipment, pots, pans, dish ware, silverware, glassware, food slicing machine, knives, oven, grill/stove burners, microwave appliances, brazier, steam kettles
Experience with interior of hotels, in restaurants and kitchen areas, with exposure to humidity, steam and extreme temperatures
Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Physically able to walk and stand without assistance on var
