The U.S. Department of the Treasury, in partnership with several national organizations and Making Home Affordable is hosting a community outreach event to help struggling homeowners explore options to avoid foreclosure. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19th from 1-8 pm and Wednesday, March 20th from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. We're looking for 160 event volunteers (up to 40 per shift, 80 per day) to help with greeting, registration, exit surveys et al.
The event is free to all participants, for Borrowers, parking is complimentary.
During the event, Borrowers will have an opportunity to meet with their mortgage lenders to discuss foreclosure prevention options. Borrowers may also meet with other key representatives who will be on-site: local HUD-Approved Housing Counselors, HUD-FHA, Veterans Administration, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
We need lots of volunteer support to cover two days in two shifts, a.m. or p.m. Their participation is crucial. We can't do these events without them, and I look to you to help reach non-profits and organizations I'm not aware of. Volunteers may register online and email me the completed registration form asap.

First Shift: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Second Shift: 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
All Day - 11:00 am - 9:00 pm
First Shift: 7:30 - noon
Second Shift: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
All Day - 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Volunteers will be provided with an event t-shirt, receive a boxed lunch, receive free parking.
