This is a very interesting property. It is located just 2 miles southeast of where the old ghost town of Ventosa Nevada once stood. This 640 acre parcel is less than 1,000 feet from railroad tracks and a good dirt road that parallels the tracks,and it is completely surrounded by BLM land to the east, west, north and south which means that there will never be any building on the eastern western, northern and southern sections that are adjacent to this property. This is great horse property especially since it borders so much BLM land for you to enjoy ! And there is extensive wildlife ! Herds of wild horses are in the area. Simply stated, northern Nevada is a very beautiful and highly desirable place to live.
A square shaped 640 acre parcel is one mile wide by one mile long. A walk around the perimeter of this property would be a four mile walk.

DIRECTIONS to the 640 acres: From the town of Wells go south on US Route 93 for six or seven miles to the Tobar turnoff. Go southeast on good dirt roads for about 10 miles (in about 5 miles you will begin to parallel the railroad tracks) until you see the Ventosa sign on the railroad switching station (small white building). Continue for another 2 miles. At this point the property line is less than a quarter mile to the south. You can access the property from the north over public BLM lands.
